Interior

Following we present you with several photographs of the unique interior of this historical vessel. The boat has gone through 3 major changes in the interior design:
1. When changed into a yacht in 1933
2. When sold to King Faruk I. in 1947
3. With modernisation ongoing since 1985

The most original part of the interior, dating from 1933 is the wooden panelling in the dining salon and the 2 forward guest cabins with hanging lockers, small writing tables and drawers.
The master suite has been designed for his Royal Highness King Faruk I. of Egypt. Most beautiful carved wooden panelling, silk & velvet fabrics, gold plated light fixtures and the like are still to original design to date.
The deck house is a later addition and today is featuring the navigation area, seating, bar and entertainment system. The salon is tastefully decorated with Fiorentine curtains and original Italian master oil paintings.
In addition to the interior a deck area has been designed for al fresco dining. This feature greatly enhances the usuable space for entertaining and enjoying the deck with its original planking. rivetted steel plates and fixtures.
